Snowbird Festival, November 25, 2005

Chairs began to fill up early as this year's snowbird festival enjoyed a warm and sunny afternoon. The Tres Generaciones group provided truly enjoyable music while preparations were completed on the celebration's cuisine for the hungry-looking crowd.

The chairs in the shade filled up a few hours before the food was served and people who arrived afterward thinking they were early, based on Mexican time, found themselves sitting in the warm sunlight.

Folk dancing and stage entertainment kept the audience entertained while they leaned over their plates. Several who couldn't resist the band's rhythms danced near the stage or in the shade of a pavilion.

It was a nice afternoon for our returning snowbirds.
