San Felipe RowersSan Felipe rowers took a gold medal at the start of Wednesday at the National Olympiad, adding 7 gold medals and one bronze, in the event that took place in La Boca Dam of the capital city.

Accompanied by dozens of families who showed their support from the banks of the dam, the San Felipe youths demonstrated once again that they dominate this event.

Carlos Manuel Gomez gave Baja California the first gold metal by winning Junior Single B while the duo formed by Kevin Lizárraga and Luis Astorga won the bronze medal in Male Children's Double Par.

Mexico's 29th State continued its successful march in Juvenile Female 4 Par B, where Alexa López, Noelia García, Selene García and Katia Guadalupe Carrillo took top honors.

Baja California also won in Junior A Men's Short Rowing Par 4, with the team led by world champion Vladimir Alexis Lopez, accompanied by Leonardo Murillo, Erick Morales and Gilberto Lizárraga.

The twins Ramón Solís and Manuel Solís were the best in Junior A Double Single Male.

In the 1X Single Girls Youth, Monica Garcia won a gold medal, while in Superior Juvenile Male, Leonardo Garcia crossed the finish line first.

Baja California took a gold in the Juvenile Test B Male 8 team, consisting of Jaime Ramos, Joshua Perez, Adolfo Peralta, Octavio Guillén, Jagbek Núñez, Said Fuentes, Oscar Maidon y Carlos Manuel Gómez Ledesma, with Víctor Iroel as helmsman. This meet was considered extraordinary for the coaches of Baja California.

A total of 43 young people from San Felipe made the trip to Nuevo Leon to represent Baja California in this sporting event and after the first 3 days reached half of what was accomplished in 2014 when 13 gold medals and 2 silver medals were won .
